With the front of your car jacked up and supported on jack stands, remove the passenger side front wheel and tire assembly. Begin by removing the drive belt, using a 3/8%26quot; square drive of a ratcher on the belt tensioner, pulling toward the front of the car to release tension with one hand, and removing the belt with the other. Remove the belt tensioner using a 13mm wrench. Remove three 10mm bolts on the power steering line to the alternator bracket. Using a pump up jack with a block of wood on top, place under engine oil pan and jack it up, just until there is slight pressure on the oil pan. Remove the three 10mm bolts on the splash shield to gain access to the crank pulley. Using an impact gun, remove the 19mm bolt that secures the crank pulley to the crankshaft and remove the pulley. You may need to pry a little to get the pulley to free up, but take extreme caution that you don't damage the crank sensor pickup or the pulley in the process. Using a 17mm deep and flex impact sockets, remove all the engine mount nuts and bolts. You will need a 17mm wrench to hold the nut while you remove the through bolt. Remove the timing belt cover by removing the following: three 7/16%26quot; or 11mm nuts, two long 5/16%26quot; or 8mm bolts, and one short 5/16%26quot; or 8mm bolt. Temporarily install the crank pulley 19mm bolt into the crankshaft to enable turning the engine over until BOTH crank and cam sprocket timing marks are aligned at the 12 o'clock position. Using a 5/16%26quot; or 8mm allen key, release tension on the timing belt tensioner and remove the timing belt. Install the new timing belt and make sure both marks are at the 12 o'clock position, before reinstalling everything in the reverse order of removal. Torque your wheel nuts to 80 ft-lbs. when finished. Hope this helps.

my brother and dad have always used Chilton's car manuals. they seem to do the job. they help them lots and they are always working on cars. hope this helps.
Haynes publishes repair manuals that are better than the Chiltons manuals. They have actual pictures after each step.

I've used both, the Haynes books are by far the better of the 2.
