When changing the timing belt on a 94 honda accord how do i make sure that it is timed right?

You have to align the timing marks as seen in the diagram, I suggest buying a repair manual, replace the water pump on this application as well, it is a PITA to do but it really wont make you happy if you have to go back to do it in the near future

You do not have to remove the distributor, so ignition timing will not be needed.

Get the specs from the tech manual then use a timing light !
